What I'm Wearing Today!

Thought it would be fun to start sharing some of my styling secrets & what I'm wearing....whether i'm doing laundry, taking the kids to school, or going out to dinner with friends & getting all dolled up!

So first things first... I'm in love with new Stella & Dot fall collection.
One of my favourite tips is having what I call my "go to pieces". They are a collection of a few faves that I know will look fabulous, especially when I'm in a hurry & don't have time to sort out what to wear....which happens all the time with three kids.

So today for example. Its Sunday...tons of things to do around the house, grocery shopping etc.
My first go to piece are my lululemon pants....no one can go wrong with this! A total go-to piece!
Then I threw on a really cute bright blue tank top. My hair is a mess & I don't have time to deal with it (or want to). So... I'm wearing of my fave. baseball caps with a side ponytail. ( if you have really short hair...you can also put on a headband...super cute)

And last but not least my go to jewelry pieces. These are a must.
So I am wearing my new super hot studded trifecta wrap...& ladies this bracelet is a must have!
Also wearing another go-to piece...My 30' long silver necklace with charms. Its easy to dress this piece up or down. Love it...plus you have endless options of charms, birthstones, initials & a choice of silver or gold in everything! Or mix & match.

My other jewelry pieces are the Stackable Deco Rings & My Essential Ball Studs in Silver.

This just ties my whole look together, its simple, its fun, its trendy...& now I can tackle my home projects In Style!

Langara College Fashion Photoshoots!

I was recently called to provide makeup & hair for fashion photoshoots at Langara College. A good friend of mine & professional makeup artist as well, Scarlett Ballantyne...called me to see if I was available for this gig...& I'm so glad she did.

The fashion photography is instructed by Lurenda Mastromonaco-Gilder and she is amazing!

I have had such a wonderful time getting to be creative in my work as a makeup artist & to work with such talented people.

For this photoshoot we were going for a little boho/70's vibe.
I love working with Cecila, not only is she stunning but she is a great model & a total sweetheart.

Styling by Martina Kiridzija, who is so awesome at what she does but also so much fun to work with.

All the photographers are so talented & its so nice to view the final results.
